The Importance of Child Labor

Child labor is a very important issue these days. Many Americans feel that it is wrong for children to work in factories. There are many foundations helping these kids. The foundations help these kids by giving them shelter, food and cloth. Some even give education to these kids by sending them to school. These organizations have helped a lot but many kids still work today. The kids Children are doing hazardous jobs. They have to work in coal mines and pick up stones for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. Other children are working in garment workshops, tobacco factories and textile mills. Working children can not go to school. Many people are worried about these kids and have little hope from the kids to have a batter future for them.

What the Kids Feel
Today the way some of the kids feel about child labor is good and some feel that it is not good. We have the perspective from both sides. This is the perspective from the kids who think it is good. They say it is good because it helps them be independent. The other reason is that they could help there parents. They say with out working they will have no food or shelter. A question was asked to them about losing there child hood. They said they rather live in a house then play. Many people think the kids have a point about wanting to work.

The kids who wish they did not have to work. Say that they could do much better things like get an education. The kids say they are losing there childhood. They say working in factories for twelve or more hours a day is not an easy job. This is the perspective of the kids who work in factories.

The Dangers Of ChildLabor
Child labor has impacted many peoples life. These day's kids are working in tobacco factories, textile mills, garment workshops, and coal mines. By working in textile factories the kids got lung diseases from breathing in dust and fiber all day. Steel workers were injured by working close to red hot vats of melted steel. This year over 195 children died in steel mills of Pittsburg alone. The other kids were killed by gas in the mine shaft. The kids that work in the garment workshops get there fingers cut off, hands cut off and many more injuries. Many people are worried for these kids that are being treated this way. That’s what makes child labor very dangerous these days.
